Course Work Samples

Here you will find samples of my coursework divided into work to show my business competency and work to show my linguistic competency in Spanish, a paper to show my cultural competency, and a paper to show my literature competency. 

Business Competency

For my International Management class, we were assigned groups of 2 to create a business plan describing how and why we would bring an existing company into a new market. My group chose to bring the air conditioning company Frigidaire to Spain. For this project, I did all parts excluding the competitive analysis and the key resouces sections.

For my Entrepreneurship 101 course, my team was asked to create a mock business plan for a start-up of our choice. For this project worked with a partner, and did everything excluding parts IX-III.

This assignment was for my managerial economics course where I was asked to analyze a case study in our textbook using the concepts learned in class. 

Linguistic Competency

This was an essay I wrote for my Spanish 3020 grammar course describing my favorite travel experiences. 

For my Language and International Business 1 course, my team was asked to create a marketing and business plan to present to our class for a company we created to bring to a country we were assigned. We were assigned Spain and decided to create a recycled clothing brand. I created and presented slides 1-6 and my partner did the rest. 

This is a letter I wrote for Spanish 3020 to show my grammatical skills and to practice using the subjective tense.

Culture Competency

This is an essay I wrote for my Spanish 3020 grammar class about a cultural problem in a Spanish speaking country of my choice. I wrote about the immigration problem between Morocco and Spain. 

Literature Competency

In my Spanish and Civilization course I was assigned an essay synthesizing different articles about a topic of my choice. I read a lot of different literature about the Mediterranean diet and its health benefits.
